How do I determine the era of my ancient coin if i cannot find a matching coin anywhere in any library or book?

I have an ancient coin with what looks to be the head of one of the 12 Cesars on the one side and the form of a male person standing naked on the flipside, I do not know for sure but the coin does look in my opinion like copper and it is pretty heavy for it's size, otherwise it's Gold.
