How long does a nose piercing hurt?

My nose took about a month to heal and it was pretty tender for a week or so. Ibuprofen helped me with the pain. As for after care sea salt solutions are a must. Hot topic sells h2ocean which is great, or you can make your own by adding 1-8 tsp of non-iodized sea salt to warm water and letting it soak on the piercing. I also use bactine on my piercings to keep them infection free. Dont change the jewlery for about a month, and maybe go to your usual piercer after a month so he can change the jewlery for you and let you know how the piercing is doing. Hope this helps!
