ANT PROBLEM. HELP PLEASE!!?

Sadly in the past I was a bit of a slob and I had food in my room often and SOMETIMES I would wait a little while before i would return it to the trash. As i go to check under my bed i see a peanut with about 25 ants around it. I was freaking out. through out the night i find a bunch more ants. i don't want to sleep in my room at night. But i need to get rid of them FAST because i have a guest spending the night in that room tonight at 6pm and i can't cancel. I need help Baby powder and chalk haven't worked. PLEASE HELP!!!
